Welcome to d'Genussalm – Hauser Kaibling Apartment 2, your alpine retreat directly on the Hauser Kaibling ski and hiking mountain in the Schladming-Dachstein region. At an altitude of 1,820 metres, a unique holiday experience awaits you right in the heart of the mountains.

The 72 m² apartment accommodates up to 9 guests and combines cosy living comfort with an exceptional location surrounded by impressive mountain scenery.

The apartment features two bedrooms with a well-planned layout and flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups. The combination of a double bed, single beds and bunk beds provides enough sleeping space for up to 9 guests.

In addition to a modern bathroom and a separate toilet, the apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The popular d'Genussalm restaurant with its sunny terrace is located directly on the ground floor. A small shop offering everyday essentials is also available on site.

The special location at an altitude of 1,820 metres also means that access is via an alpine mountain road.

During summer, d'Genussalm can be reached by car. However, the access road is a gravel mountain road with some steep sections and alpine terrain. It is not an asphalted or conventional access road.

The road is accessible with a normal, roadworthy passenger car. However, you should be a confident and experienced driver and feel comfortable driving on gravel roads, steep sections and alpine terrain. With an appropriately careful driving style, the journey is perfectly manageable.

Please make sure to consider this carefully before booking. If you feel unsure or uncomfortable driving on steep or gravel mountain roads, we recommend arriving by gondola instead.

Numerous hiking trails through the impressive mountain landscape start directly outside your door. Along the way, cosy mountain huts invite you to stop and enjoy regional specialities. Families will particularly enjoy the children's adventure trail and playground located right next to d'Genussalm.

As a special extra, our guests receive the Schladming-Dachstein Card. While the card usually includes one ascent and descent per day, guests staying at d'Genussalm benefit from two free ascents and descents per day. This allows you to conveniently take the gondola down into the valley and return to your accommodation.

In winter, a true mountain experience awaits you. Skiers enjoy ski-in/ski-out access and can start their day on the slopes directly from the doorstep. Guests without skis can also easily reach d'Genussalm via the winter hiking trail and fully enjoy the snow-covered mountain scenery, cosy mountain huts and the unique atmosphere of Hauser Kaibling.

d'Genussalm is the ideal accommodation for everyone who doesn't just want to visit the mountains, but wants to stay right in the heart of them – with nature, hiking trails, ski slopes and regional cuisine directly on your doorstep.

The apartment features three stylish bedrooms with comfortable 180 cm double beds as well as an additional sofa bed. A modern bathroom and a separate toilet provide added convenience during your stay.

The open-plan living and dining area creates a warm and inviting atmosphere – the perfect place to unwind after an active day in the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for enjoyable meals together. From the balcony, you can take in stunning views of the surrounding alpine landscape.
