Herzstück - Troadkasten am Hauser Kaibling is a truly special mountain retreat for guests who appreciate authentic alpine charm, natural wood and the tranquillity of the Styrian mountains. Lovingly renovated, this traditional wooden granary is located at approximately 1,200 metres above sea level on the Oberhausberg, surrounded by green meadows, forest and beautiful nature.
The cosy 42 m² accommodation is designed for four guests as standard and can accommodate up to five people. The spacious bedroom on the upper floor features two 140 cm beds and a sofa bed. A second sleeping area with a bunk bed has its own separate outside entrance, providing additional privacy and making it particularly suitable for children. The accommodation also includes one bathroom with a shower.
The welcoming kitchen and living area combines traditional wooden details with practical comforts. It is equipped with an electric hob without an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment and an espresso machine. One of the highlights is the wood-burning stove, which creates wonderful warmth and an authentic mountain-hut atmosphere on cooler days. Wi-Fi and an internet-enabled television are also available.
The terrace and balcony are perfect places to enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings. With views of the forest and green meadows, Herzstück offers a wonderful setting in which to slow down and leave everyday life behind. Pets are welcome, and a baby cot and high chair are available for families.
In winter, you can drive to the Hauser Kaibling mid-station and enter the ski area directly from there. Please note that the accommodation does not offer ski-in/ski-out access. Due to its elevated location, we recommend carrying snow chains during winter. Two free parking spaces, including one covered space, are available directly at the property.
